About Projects

Projects can have one or more of the following:

• Data entry configurations
• Charts
• Navigation (Toolbar commands)

Creating Project

1. On the SPC MI computer, click Start | Programs | InfinityQS | ProFicient | Applications | SPC Manufacturing Intelligence. SPC MI

If the Select InfinityQS Data Source dialog box or the user sign in dialog box opens, click Cancel. The dialog box closes.

2. In the SPC MI menu bar, click Project | New. The Select InfinityQS Data Source dialog box
3. In the list of available DSNs, click the SPC Validation Data Source Name, and then click OK. The user sign in dialog box

4. In the user sign in dialog box, type your Sign In Name (admin) and your Password (admin), and then click OK. The Specify Filename for New Project dialog box

5. In the File name data field, type Getting Started Exercise, and then click the SAVE The Data Entry dialog box opens.

6. In the Data Entry dialog box, click Standard, and then click the YES The Data Entry Configuration: Standard dialog box opens.
