MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA — As part of Affordable Housing Week from May 12 to 19, the City of Mountain View plans to host a lunchtime event to address Bay Area concerns over the lack of mid-level housing options for middle income workers, families and households.
The event features a moderated discussion with three subject matter experts on the “missing middle” who are trying to address this issue: Dan Parolek of Opticos Design, Rick Jacobus of Street Level Advisors, and Patrick Kennedy of Panoramic Interests.
In addition to the discussion, the event will include a light lunch; opportunities for questions and answers from participants, and a tour of a “MicroPAD” modular housing concept, as seen in the images above.
The event’s scheduled for 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts SecondStage, 500 Castro St., Mountain View.
